Aim

The exercise aimed to create a script using basic grasshopper modelling. The project is a piped pavilion, designed as a breakout space for the larger urban context. This script can be used as a form-finding exercise with parametric variables. For my studio project, i had to design a breakout space for the visitors and the proposal was a parametric pavilion.

This was the script used to general the basic roof shape of the top slab of the pavilion, the parameters can be modified in whichever way we like by changing the co-ordinates of the MD sliders. Two MD sliders are added to achieve the desired effect of the wave for the top slab
The above script is used to create the puncture of the top slab, again, MD slider is used to determine the suitable position of the puncture of the top slab.
The above script is used to add the thickness to the slab.
The above script is used for the support columns and a graph mapper is used to determine the buldge and the girth of the organic shape being formed at the base of the slab.
